AYHAN SALAR born in Izmir - Turkey. Lives since 1973 mostly in Germany. Study of social and cultural sciences at the universty of Bremen.  Later studied Film at the Academy of Arts, Bremen. Since 1989 working as Filmmaker and Cinematographer. In the Years 2005 & 2006 Teaching at the Academy of Arts in Bremen, Germany.  2005 Workshow Shortfilms in the Museo Centro de Arte REINA SOFIA, Madrid. Since 1990, also working as independent film producer, with the germany based film production SALARFILM. 

Member of EFA - The European Film Academy.
